Who we are
This website is operated by Legitely (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@getlegitely.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the Legit Check lead form or the contact form, we receive the details you enter — such as your name, email, business name, business type and website URL, and anything you type into a message field.
- Legit Check answers. Your answers to the 15 assessment questions are stored in your browser (session storage) to calculate your score. They are only sent to us if you choose to submit the “full Legit Report” form.
- Basic technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) and, if enabled in future, privacy-conscious analytics that do not identify you personally.
How we use it
- To send you the Legit Report you requested and respond to your inquiry.
- To provide, maintain and improve our services.
- To send occasional related tips, only where you have agreed, with an unsubscribe link in every message.
- To protect the website against spam and abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the website and communicate with you (for example, hosting and email delivery), and only as needed for those purposes, or where required by law.
Retention
We keep inquiry and lead information for as long as needed to respond and for our legitimate business records, then delete or anonymise it.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from tips at any time using the link in the email.
- You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@getlegitely.com.
- You can clear the Legit Check answers stored in your browser at any time by clearing your site data.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. It uses only what is needed for the site to function. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated first.
Children
This website is intended for business owners and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
